A straight 10" length of wire obtained from a spring must withstand twisting thro' 7 complete revolutions in clockwise direction and then 10 revolutions in anti-clockwise direction without fracture. Springs must withstand 100 hours running on Vauxhall Motors Spring Testing Machine, particulars of which may be obtained on application. Failure of any sample taken from a delivery will render the whole delivery liable to rejection.
