Dear Sirs, In confirming our conversation held at the show, we should be pleased if you would make for trial, 24 valve springs in "Low carbon steel" to the accompanying drawing. The material we are told is the same as used by the Vauxhall Co., and we are keen on giving it a run as an alternative to the Chrome Vanadium springs which are our standard. Up to the present we have tried various valve spring materials without much success as compared with Chrome Vandium.
