| -2- 15th. February 1938. In this case as we have experienced one or two welding failures it is doubtful if we shall use sheet metal for this part. You once estimated to me that the cost for making a sample complete frame to the drawing that I gave you would be approximately £150. I cannot therefore, believe that you have had any personal dealings with the cost of producing the 12 torque arms. I should be very glad if you could straighten out this affair, as it is unsatisfactory for our people to be frightened of allowing you to produce experimental samples.
