RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12 24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. Customer's No. performance after this run shewed the low speed sparking to be - advance 95 rpm retard 230 rpm as compared with speeds of 70 rpm advance and 205 rpm retard obtained before. The magneto during the remaining of this electrical test was observed to be very noisy. After subsequently dismantling the magneto it was examined for mechanical defects and found to be quite OK. The contact breaker was in an exceptionally good condition the contact points having remained almost untouched as regards evidence of wear.
