RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12 24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. Customer's No. 19 The distributor points also shewed no evidence of undue burning and appeared in much better condition than is usually observed in our battery ignition head. This will satisfactorily answer R's query as to this point. The armature windings and slip ring flanges were covered with a fine powder and the slip ring flanges shewed the radial lines as described by Mr E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} Watson in his paper to the I. A.{Mr Adams} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} entitled "The electrical characteristics of spark gaps and sparking plugs" page 39 (last two lines) and page 40. We propose now to unwind the armature for ourselves and Messrs. North's edification and instruction. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
