(2) Universal Joints and Wheel Hub Shells. In my letter to you dated the 5th May last, the Steering Box question was covered, and I was under the impression that you would be including Golden Shell (Extra Heavy) for this point, as it is an S.A.E. 60 oil, and a very close match for Patent Castrol XXL, one of the grades shown. For the other two items, Shell Retinax Grease is, as you know, very similar to Mobilgrease No.2, and I believe you were kindly considering showing this grade for these two purposes. Many thanks for including Shell Water Pump Grease, and the specification for the Front Suspension and Shock Dampers. I was extremely sorry personally not to have seen you at the Show, as we might have had another interesting discussion on lubrication and other matters." Yours sincerely, Gordon. W. Preece | ||
