- 3 - BRAKES. Front. Brake Drums removed for inspection of shoes and linings, and found O.K. Hub Bearings inspected and found O.K. Brake shoe operating wedges found seized up, dismantled cleaned, freed and refitted. FRONT SUSPENSION. Car was down at the front end near side. Complete Front Suspension dismantled. 2 new main Suspension Springs (FA. 3826) fitted. New Needle Roller Bearings fitted to both pivots. Lower Triangle Levers, Pendulum Lever and Torque Arms dismantled, cleaned and crack tested. EXHAUST SYSTEM. All flanges refaced and refitted with "Corra" joints. New fabrics EB. 3559 fitted to Swan Neck Suspension. SHOCK DAMPERS. All Shock Absorbers checked for poundage, cleaned out and refilled with clean oil. COOLING SYSTEM. New Water Temperature Thermometer DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 2143 fitted, old one failed. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 2 new tail lamps fitted. Purchased from Globe & Simpson Ltd, Derby. Price 25s. the pair. 2 new 12 volt 6 watt. Bulbs fitted - 1/3d. the pair. 1 Trafficator Festoon Bulb fitted - 1/-.
