Dear Sirs, Following the writer's call on you a week ago, we have examined the half axle casing in our possession and find that this has been so machined by us that it is now impossible to mount the rear hub. As we wish to arrange a similar rig to that which you are using for investigating the squeal propensities of brake linings, we should be obliged if you would loan to us one half axle complete with hub and brake drum. We take it that the brake shoes already in our possession could be fitted to this axle as well as the Bentley wheel. The remainder of the gear can be easily manufactured here, and will be put in hand immediately on receipt of the above actual car parts.
