LIGHTENED TYPE SPEEDOMETER FOR R.R.

CHASSIS HAVING LARGER TOTAL MILEAGE ON TRIP FIGURES.

We wish to point out that the standardisation of these instruments will be held up pending the decision regarding the new arrangements of internal illumination of the instruments, as our new schemes will probably effect the general construction of the speedometer.

We are anxious not to standardise these instruments and allow A.T.'s to tool them up, and then a few weeks later ask them to modify the design to incorporate our/ new lighting features.

This information is passed on so that it shall be understood by all concerned what is holding up the standardisation of these instruments.

Ha/Wst.
