3½ LITRE BENTLEY.

The position in regard to instructions covering

(a). The 15 chassis.

(b). The 100 Sets for production,

has reached such a critical stage that it is of the utmost importance that nothing should be modified or changed unless there is an absolute necessity for such a change to be made in order to make the car function properly, as a very strict check is being kept by Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} upon the instructions which have been issued, and reports will be sent by Sft.{Mr Swift} to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} calling attention to any changes which are made from now onwards.

I am not, of course, saying that no changes must be made, as obviously it may become necessary to make changes in order to ensure the car functioning correctly, but it will be necessary when this occurs for the matter to be raised positively with Sft.{Mr Swift} and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} in each instance, in order to keep the matter upon a workable footing.
