c-ontd :- -2- We know that (2) is partially due to the angle at which we have set the face for the tank unit. It appears to us, however, that unless the angle of tilt is increased and the unit then bent at the bottom to bring the bell vertical, we shall not succeed in getting such a good reading from zero as we did on K-S.100. We have therefore left the face at the increased angle but you are at liberty to alter it or do anything you like with the tank to assist you in your experiments. When you have finished your tests, we should like the tank back at the earliest possible date to confirm your results. We are prepared to let you have it for a fortnight, however, if necessary. We will let you know a few days in advance when we require the 20 HP. tank to N.sch.2578 with which you are at present experimenting. Yours faithfully, | ||
