Dear Sirs,
With reference to the first N.soh.2571 tank which we delivered last week, there is one alteration we should be obliged if you would make in the tank unit installed before the car goes away.
Since the despatch of this unit, we have found that the rate of pumping increases if the bottom plate in the bell has an additional hole put in it, in approximately the position shown on the sample bell plate enclosed.
We note and will include a full 21 gallons in the 2¼" scale on all future units.
We shall not have K.S.175 and K.S.180 drawn out until the beginning of next week, when we will at once send you copies.
