(1)
Mr. Wormald was unable to attend as he was at a meeting in London.

(2) RUBBER CONNECTIONS.

The A.I.D. Inspector is going to the AVON Works to pass and stamp the rubber connections, the material having been passed in London. These connections will be sent by post, as they are passed.

Mr. Bailey has also wired Capt. Briggs this morning with regard to permission to despatch engines without rubber fittings, as the safest alround policy.

(3) STEEL CASTINGS.

Mr. Bailey informed the meeting that he had received designs from Mr. Day for the new pressings for the swan-necked outlet on our exhaust. These will be detailed completely by Monday. Mr. Whitehead is getting a representative of John Thompson's over for Tuesday next, or earliest date later.

The design for the new Engine Foot is also being detailed.
