MINUTES OF CONFERENCE.
HELD YESTERDAY RESPECTING WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'S CHART GIVING DATES WHEN MATERIAL AND INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE IN THE WORKS.

A conference was held yesterday (Wednesday, the 8th inst.) to consider the suggestions respecting the above put forward by Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} in his two memos #d5/NJ6/11/22 and #d6/NJ6/11/22 at which the following were present:-
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}, Sft.{Mr Swift}, Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}, Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}, EWT.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} suggested that the programme which he received on the 3rd inst. should bear a reference and date. This was agreed to and I am arranging to have the following inserted on the programme:-

- Worl/M2/11/22 -

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} also was of the opinion that the following sections be transferred from A.{Mr Adams} to B:-
Section 5010. Crankshaft.
" 5090. Camshaft.
" 6120. Rear Axle.
" 7000. Frames & Fittings.

After discussion it was agreed that:-

Crankshaft section, and
Rear Axle Section

could be transferred to B. Class, the sections of

Camshaft, and
Frames & Fittings,

remain as at present in Class A.{Mr Adams}

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} pointed out that the information contained in the programme had been compiled from particulars prepared by Sft.{Mr Swift}, after very careful consideration, and he agreed that on conditions that material was delivered and instructions issued in accordance with the details set out the Works would be satisfied and be able to put chassis on test in accordance with the Output Chart previously issued.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} pointed out,however, that if the information respecting certain details were too fine for the O.O. to work to, then O.O. could arrange their plans to suit themselves, but what he was most anxious to make clear was the fact that we are very
