-5- RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/BE7.2.33. Oil Pump. RR. Scheme 216. 1. Slight wear on walls and top of bottom faces. 2. Slight wear on driving gear teeth. Petrol Pump & Drive. LeC 3184. 1. Pump Operating Rocker - slight wear on contact pad due to push rod. 2. Main casing in good condition. 3. Diaphragm is in good condition except for slight deterioration of surface exposed to petrol. Intermediate layers and reverse side of fabric in sound condition. 4. Valve Springs. Outlet - Good. Inlet - .050" short and one or two coils at one end worn slightly on outside diameter. A slight radius on the edge of the hole in the cap would, no doubt, obviate this trouble. Oil Fittings. RR.
