HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) C to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.D. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL R1/W15.1.32. Sent from WW. 19.1.32. x 5430. x 7430. x 4553. x 4057. STEERING COLUMN CONTROLS - GUARD RING TYPE. These are at Derby being detailed. They are suitable for J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. and P. 2., with a smaller edition for B. 2., and Peregrine. They are very simple to make, and we think that it is the easiest design that is effective and positively locked. The 4 controls include the dimming switch and electric horn. There is no possibility of trapping one's fingers. The design entails some unskilled work, and one thinks might be made in the Electrical Dept. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
