re. HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPERS ON REAR -X.236.
E.A.C. &.

We send herewith N.Scheme 2182. shewing a modified arrangement of the shock damper on the rear to meet R's requirements of a longer connecting rod.

It will be seen that in general the scheme is the same as N.Scheme 2166. but we have arranged a rather longer sheet metal bracket off the spring roller bracket and have shortened the shock damper lever 1". We have also slightly shifted the position of the lug on the spring bracker carrying the sheet metal lever.

If it is found possible we should very much like this arrangement to be on the first EAC,S. Chassis to remove any question of the length of the connecting rod.
