XX7-EX - AND HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPERS. X.235 X.7520 X.3998 X.8520

Chassis 7-EX was erected and at the coachbuilders before the present work on hydraulic shock dampers was commenced.
We have investigated the fitting of the hydraulic shock dampers to your car and ascertain that, if the wing stays were actually fitted in the position called for on our N.sch.1824 and Derby's F.73147, there should be no difficulty in fitting the shock dampers in the position shown on N.sch.2089.
We have also gone into the question of fitting the shock dampers to EAC.V111 which as you will have remembered has a shorter bonnet, and have produced a design for the front wing stays showing the hydraulic shock dampers fitted. This N.sch. 2136 was sent to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence with DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M6.2.26.
Having dealt with the Phantom with both standard and with sheet metal wing stays, and with EAC.V11 we have left the case of EAC.V11 for which the wing stays have not been done as yet.
