We are now in receipt of a further letter from the Vacuum Oil Co.Ltd. dated 10th inst. reminding us that sometime ago we promised to ascertain whether our Technical Staff considered it necessary to have a conference with Mr.J.Russell Sharp regarding the Vacuum Co's proposal that we should make exhaustive tests of their various grades of automobile lubricants and decide whether same are suitable for our chassis. They ask us whether we are now in a position to go further into this matter. As it is necessary that an answer be addressed to the Vacuum Co. I shall be much obliged if you will let me know whether you consider it necessary to have an interview with Mr.J.Russell Sharp and whether you have made arrangements to carry out exhaustive tests of the Vacuum Co's various grades of automobile lubricants to decide whether same are suitable for our chassis.
