(S.P.S) S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD., CRICKLEWOOD WORKS, LONDON, N.W.2. CONTINUATION NO. 1. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq. 29th June 1936. I am afraid the only argument I can put forward as to the merits of Jackall is that the system is already fitted to nearly 100,000 cars. Our Service figures, which are open to inspection, indicate that the amount of trouble is so small as to be negligible. Further proof, if necessary, lies in the fact that all of the Chassis houses fitting Jackall last year have renewed their arrangements for 1936/7. It is reasonable to assume that none of the firms concerned would continue to standardise the system, bearing in mind the cost relation of same to other forms of jacks, unless it gave entire satisfaction. I must apologise for boring you with this detail, but the reasons why we have every possible claim to your support for this accessory are so abundant that I know absolutely nothing about selling, not to have been able to convince you. With renewed thanks for your interest, and regrets, Sincerely yours, Charles W. Waith P.S. Have an appointment with Mr Royce on Wedy. afternoon. Hope to see you. C.W. | ||
