To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} X 8796 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T15.5.25. _X.4181 WATFORD EC6 MAGNETO No.77606._ We hand you herewith the above magneto which has recently been removed from one of our experimental chassis, more particularly on the score of noise, but upon examination we find that the H.T. collector and slip ring have got out of order, and further that this magneto is fitted with the old bronze gear wheel. It appears that in any case this magneto requires bringing up-to-date and we should be pleased if you will return this to the makers for the purpose. It appears that we might with reason ask them to repair the H.T. collecting portion free of charge, this magneto having covered 8857 miles on experimental chassis since first put into use. EFC. {E.
