| Test No.2. To obtain definite figures for twin manifolds these were run into a standard Bentley front expansion box, one at each end, and the percentage loss was reduced from 19.5% to 14.6%. A straight through pipe reduced it further to 9.0% but was subjec to very severe periods. Actua power curves add losses are as shown in P.4. | ||
