X634. RECEIVED 21 MAR 1931 S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} RG.{Mr Rowledge} I have/been able to arrange with LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} that his "Phantom II" Car (112-GN) shall come up to you to-morrow with a view to booming remedies. This was one of the cars tested by Grylls when he was with me, and we agreed that there was practically no booming at the rear but some very sharp drumming at the higher speeds in front. It is hoped that you will finish whatever you have to do with this car in as few days as possible in view of its being urgently required. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
