East Works, Bordesly Green Road, Adderley Park-Birmingham, 8. TELEGRAMS: FLEXCARBUR, BIRMINGHAM. Your Ref. Our Ref. TCS/DR May 10/35. File (handwritten) J.C.Bowering Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Bowering, Further to our telephone conversation, I have examined the needles again and agree your remarks. On investigation of the matter I find that although these needles are inspected after being finished, and moreover the girl fitting them has a brass hammer to tap them on to their seatings, the lady in question has been using a hardened/spanner, thus damaging them. My apologies! Yours sincerely, T. C. Skinner | ||
