Fabric Coupling Failures.

Remarks: Failures occur due to rivets working loose, and we are fitting a new type of fabric with a loose plate.

Faulty Dynamos.

Remarks: A new dynamo has been standardised and we hope will reduce these complaints.

Slipper Drive Seized.
Handwritten: Experiments on hand with cotton fabric friction washers

Remarks: The Bakelite washers become seized probably caused by variation of lubrication. The oil grooves in the washers appear to be an improvement.

Clutch Jaggers and Slipping.
Handwritten: Lubrication the only present cure for jaggers if alignment is O.K. Slipping due to over lubrication only.

Remarks: A 50% mixture of oil and paraffin will overcome the jaggers but if overdone will cause slipping.

Carburetter Flooding.
Handwritten: Does not occur if carburetter is periodically cleaned and examination of valve seating made as per instruction book

Remarks: Corrosion on faces of valve seatings. N. suggest seatings made of non-corrosive material.
