Dear Sirs,

We beg to thank you for your letter of the 17th inst., and we are proceeding with the work on the design of the new type top plate from the information given us on sketch attached to your letter, but unfortunately we have been much handicapped by illness on the part of some of our staff engaged in this department, and the matter has not proceeded as quickly as we should have liked.

We hope to have finished shortly with the tank which you have sent us, but at the moment it is being usefully employed in checking up the replacement unit, which has been rendered necessary by the altered position.

With regard to the angle of the facia board, as fitted by various coachbuilders, if the degree of angularity
