Re: India 3. for R.{Sir Henry Royce} With further reference to former correspondence, I enclose copy of letter received from Mr. Munro of Barker's today, giving reasons for the delay. The letter of the 26th June giving the drawings, which he said was received on the 27th, was in reality sent by hand on that day. I saw R.{Sir Henry Royce} this morning and explained your point of view and he has agreed that we should carry on. In view, therefore, of Mr. Munro's promise, will you please arrange to have your lorry at Barker's Works on Wednesday evening next, the 25th instant, to collect the body, and in view of the urgency, we presume you will arrange for your men to drive it to Derby during the night. We understand you will have to keep men back for other work from the day you close for the holiday, and as we understand R.{Sir Henry Royce} does not really want the car until early in the following week, we presume you will be able to complete it for him.
