Appearance of Phantom III Radiator.

Further to our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.14/KW.8.7.36. we have inspected the radiator fitted with scheme (1) of that memo, using the old bentley type radiator wire grill. This certainly very much improves the appearance but we are afraid that it will matrially reduce the cooling. To avoid this we wish to try the same scheme using a coarser mesh of wire.

We are obtaining this wire today and will hand the same to you.

Will you please fit this new wire mesh to the radiator of 32-EX which is in the garage, in exactly the same way that as you did scheme (1) above except that the wire mesh and the yoke must both be painted with the same bright black finish.

This can be judged against the second scheme in memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.14/KW.8.7.36. above, which will be fitted to 32-EX, both schemes being for Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. inspection on Wednesday next.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.
