| Y7410 349 S/W. Btll/MC25.9.34. SEP 26 1934 RECEIVED COMPLAINT. 27-RY. F.C.Burgess. Further to our memo., Bt{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}6/MC25.9.34, written in great hurry to catch the bag this morning. We want to put the position more fully. In the first place the car is to be tested for squabbing and alterations by AA{D. Abbot-Anderson} first thing tomorrow, Wednesday, morning. Provided this is satisfactory he will send the car to you by driver Fenton on Wednesday afternoon. In the second place C. wants you to do everything you can to make the springing of the car suitable. There will be no chance of our having another go at it later: we have either got to satisfy Mrs. Burgess this time or she will sell the car. Thirdly, if you are not fully satisfied after you have made one change of springs you will no doubt make other changes. C. wants the springing to be as good as we know how to make it. We have agreed to lend Mrs. Burgess a car so that if you have to keep the car a day or two longer than you expected, she would probably not be very much inconvenienced. On the other hand we naturally do not want our car, which really should be in use here, to be away longer than we can help. AA{D. Abbot-Anderson} is speaking to Mrs. Burgess today to tell her about the loan car and will say that under normal conditions he hopes that she may expect 27-RY back about the end of the week. We may mention that Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and AA{D. Abbot-Anderson} are all in agreement with the last 3 paragraphs of your Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}6/HR20.9.34. Bt.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} P.S.
