Dear Sir, Many thanks for yours of the 24th inst. Ref. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ addressed to Mr. Limb. We do not expect any difficulties to arise through the admixture of our new E.P. Lubricant with No. 1 Gearease or with Whitmore's compound. You will appreciate, of course, that we have not had any experience with the admixture. At the time I was in Derby we had not decided to make an aluminium soap grease. It was under consideration. We have a stringy sort of grease with which we are experimenting and so far looks very promising. The difficulty seems to be to break the thread of grease which always forms between the gun and the nipple when withdrawing. If there is any urgency about it we shall be very pleased to send you a sample of both these products. Yours faithfully, C. C. WAKEFIELD & Co. LIMITED.
