| COPY. To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Engine Mountings. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/Hl.12.32 I should be glad to know what we are doing about floating power. I rather think I recently saw a note from you asking the Experimental Department to fit up an engine in two different ways, one being on the lines of that adopted by Chrysler in the Plymouth a year or so ago, Ford in the V.8 and various others. The Americans seem to have achieved wonderful results by this latest form of diagonal floating power suspension and I am anxious to know whether we are closely following it up. (Sgd.) Sg.{Arthur F.
