Proceed with the machining of these castings so as to make the Pistons to the dimensions existing prior to the modification outlined in your letter of December 1st. 2. Proceed with the machining of these castings so as to incorporate the modification outlined in your letter of December 1st, but taking the risk introduced thereby of having a crown .030" thinner at the points where the modification is incorporated. 3. Scrap the castings already made, altering the corebox to comply with the modification of December 1st, and starting afresh with the order for 21 Pistons whose raised portion would thus become .330". We are proceeding with the preparation of detail drawings incorporating the modifications so as to make the various Pistons readily identifiable, and will let you have these in the course of a few posts.
