S/W 81-82 Db{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}14/JL.12.8.35. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Db.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Lr.{Mr Ellor} MNG. informs us that there is a good deal of interest in France concerning a chemical product known as "L'Anthène", which it is claimed gives better results than T.E.L., especially in conjunction with heavier types of fuel. Certain racing engines, such as the six-cylinder Regnier that was fitted in the Percival machine which won the Deauville-Paris race, were doped with Anthène. If you are interested MNG. would order a sample to be forwarded to you for trial. The address of the manufacturers is as follows:- Laboratoire de l'Anthène, 41, Avenue de Rueil, Nanterre (Seine), France. Db.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} for JL | ||
