Mr. West will kindly send on some information re R.R.50 material, if it is suitable for the assembly plate of the new instrument. The S.P.G. of the Alloy at present being used is 6.8.

The new scheme of jewel hole, instead of pivot, discussed by Mr. Lenoir, need not be embodied in these sample instruments. Further test can be carried out at Chronos Works.

It is confirmed that there will be no extra cost for the red segment on the Rev-Counters, when these are in production. The extra charges recently put through were only for the special instruments altered for Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
