of the modification to the dimension for the clearance of the rear universal joint on Phantom III.

(11) Wireless Sets and Jack Handles - Phantom III.

The situation in connection with this is easing off because of less wireless sets being fitted. At the same time a new and shorter handle will be used with the standard pump, and is expected to come in on "D" series.

(12) Car Heaters.

A range of experimental heaters is, or should be shortly on test by the Experimental Department, who will in due course report their recommendations.

(13) Phantom III Bonnet Shutters.

The existing 25/30 shutter has now been standardised on Phantom III.

(14) Over-riders for Bentley Stabilising Bumper.

An approved over-rider has now been standardised, and this item can be dropped from the Minutes.

(15) Bentley Apron Rattles.

This appears to be a combination of insufficient clearance between the mudguards and the apron, and the rubber mounting for the apron itself being too soft. It is proposed, therefore, to try harder rubber for the apron mounting, to consider rubber or felt packing between the front crossmember and the apron to act as a damper to stop the apron moving up and down, and to specify on the coachbuilders prints a minimum of 1/8" clearance between the edge of the mudguard and the apron. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will investigate this.

(16) Bentley Rear Bumper Brackets.

The scheme rigged up on the Bentley in the Experimental Dept. was inspected. In view of the decision which has been taken to make no alteration to the Bentley jacking scheme until Bentley III it was decided that further design work was required to make a satisfactory scheme.
