for both Continental and English conditions in respect to the dipping mechanism, that is, they can be suitably converted.
We consider it is essential for these lamps to be tested in France before being standardised. C-S-4, which is going out shortly presents a suitable opportunity.

(5) Fitting of Bonnets.

The small scuttle bead has now been adopted as standard on 25/30, on which the complaints arose.

(6) Door Stops and Locks.

Coachbuilders have now agreed to supply a stick of the special wax compound to customers for the lubrication of all types of door locks, and other fittings, such as adjustable seat slides, etc.

(7) Widney Unbroken Line Top Bonnet Hinge.

Awaiting Experimental report on the operation of the bonnet, and on the waterproofness of the hinge.

(8) Sound Insulation.

To bring the coachbuilders into line with the specification laid down by Derby it will involve the Company, as far as can be seen, in extra expense. A decision with regard to this point will rest on a trial by Derby which will be made with and without the extra insulation involved, the report of which should be received in due course.

(9) Radiator Shutters.

The scheme for adjusting Phantom III radiator shutters end-play in position has been instructed, and a report is awaited from the Experimental Dept. The report should deal with the change in appearance, and also the accessibility of the adjustment itself.

(10) Revision of Coachbuilders Chassis Prints.

Nothing has come out of the enquiry into this question, and the prints are to be as heretofore with the exception
