PROGRESS MEETING.

REPORT FOR 26TH MAY AT WHICH, BY, MR. SWIFT, MR HIVES, MR WILLIS & BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} WERE PRESENT

In accordance with Mr. Wormald's suggestion, Mr. Willis had been invited to attend this and all future meetings.

Alt. 496 F.{Mr Friese}
Referring to previous minute relating to this alteration in the report for 20th May, Mr. Swift has now looked into this alteration and agrees that it should be proceeded with.

Steering Box Rocking Shaft F.6981
The Tool Office desire to add an undercut to assist the thread milling operation, to that end of the shaft remote from the castellations. It was agreed that this alteration should be proceeded with.

Cheese Headed Screw. F.6615.
The Tool Office desire to alter the radius on the top of the head to a chamfer, to assist production. It was agreed that this alteration should be proceeded with.

Base Plate for Main Switch. F.7123.
The Drawing Office desire to correct an error whereby the hole for the pin of the swinging bolt, had been quoted as ¼" diameter instead of 3/16" diameter. It was agreed that this alteration should be proceeded with, providing the base plates had not already been drilled, in which event Mr. Swift would raise the matter again.

Brush Holder Stud. E.13729
An alteration had been proposed in which the size of the split pin would be reduced, but it was agreed that this was unnecessary, and the alteration should be cancelled.

Lower Steering Tube and Flange F.6986. F.6986
It was proposed to increase the bore of F.6986 from
