Lidsey}6.10.33. with standardisation sheet. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} said that he had not yet signed up the standard-isation sheet for the chassis as the car has not yet completed 10,000 miles releasing it for standardisation but as about 5,000 miles have already been covered Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} said he was feeling inclined to sign particularly as we are already in production with most of the features in question and in anticipation of a satisfactory test result. 2. Sidgreaves - MD} repeated the view which he had previously expressed that we must always bear in mind that R.R. should not fall behind the Bentley so far as improvements are concerned. This matter was briefly discussed and it was arranged that C. could take up the question with Gx. and communicate with Derby saying exactly what are their requirements. 4. Item 4 on Agenda. Sidgreaves - MD} said that he considered the Fisher scheme of ventilation to be extraordinarily good and that he would like to see it adopted as soon as possible. He said that he is not desirous of Rolls-Royce taking a licence from General Motors for this fitment and he has been in communication with Mr. Constantine with a view to a licence | ||
