Y 3619 We send herewith two blue prints of "N" Scheme 624 shewing the suggested arrangement of the Wiring for the above battery. Only one new clip is necessary, of which a sketch is shewn. We have considered the advisability of running the heavy cables in tubes, but we consider that the work should not be delayed in order to do this. It will be noted that we have not left sufficient slack to enable the battery to be dropped down as in the 6EX method of mounting the battery in the frame. This is because we think it will be sufficiently convenient to take the covers off, and disconnect the terminals before dropping the battery, and it avoids the making of special pieces to loop the slack.
