Re E.O.6 Watford Magnetos.

We have recently had a considerable number of failures on this Magneto due to the breakdown of the high tension pick-up. It will be remembered that a similar failure occurred during the 10,000 miles test of the "S" series chassis.

After this failure it was suggested that a different type of brush holder should be employed with better insulating qualities.

We consider at the moment that this failure is so serious that if Norths are satisfied, we should ask them to provide us with a number of insulators complete, in order that we may change these brush holders as soon as ever possible.
