Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letter of the 19th. inst., and also for your confirmatory order No. 37462, and in accordance with your request we are putting in hand immediately a further Clutch Plate for your trial. In your order we notice that you call for a plate with a .010" cushioning, whereas your letter mentions a .060" cushioning. We have taken the latter figure to be correct and are working accordingly, but should there be any alteration perhaps you will kindly advise us immediately. As mentioned above, we have ordered the necessary components, but in view of the difficulty of obtaining steel deliveries at the moment, we regret very much that we cannot promise you a very early delivery.
