Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Childs. Experimental Dept. A thorough examination has been made of the pair of Windtone Horns recently returned by you after they had completed a 15,000 mile trial. One Horn was in perfect condition but the other had a broken lead from the Terminal Block to the Contact Breaker. This we can safely say is an isolated case as we cannot recall another example. The Horn when fitted with a new lead will function satisfactorily on 10 volts. This point, you will remember, was raised by you in your letter. After slight adjustment of the Contact Breaker to take up Contact wear, these Horns functioned very well and we propose returning them to you for further service. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. Technical Sales Department. | ||
