-12- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/MJ3.11.30 contd. Battery box failure. 66-WJ. A new box with the strengthened angle bracket was fitted. There are no supplies as yet/of the third split bracket F.82964/5 which has been designed to be fitted to all battery box supports. Coil failures. 49-(OR). GVL-32. Changed for latest type. Dynamo. 1-GN. 79-GN. The faults with these dynamos were due to the control brush sticking. Court switch failure. 6-GN. The owner complained of failure to change over from head lamp to the spot light. A Bosch switch was fitted. In view of the trouble with shock dampers and the difficulty of reproducing the trouble here, I would suggest that one of Mr.Brock's men should go down to Cricklewood to work on this complaint in conjunction with myself. I have taken up with Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} the necessity of letting the Depots have the material for alterations re Depot sheets as quickly as possible to avoid the depots having to replace known faulty pieces.
