forth the shape of the bonnet and dash.

Drawings have already been received from Messrs. Park Ward showing the modified waist-line for 'C', 'E' and 'F' steering, for 2" wider dash.

Provision should be made in the hollow section scuttle armature so that it can be bolted either solidly or flexibly to the dashboard, allowing for about a dozen bolts in the former case.

It is proposed to substitute a dropping division for the sliding windows on this body, and agreement will be obtained from R.R. Sales.

No.4. Phantom III Wheel Arches.

Mr.Ward raised the question of these arches having insufficient width of arch laterally for joining up to the body sides, and suggested that this width should be increased by 1/2". The wheel arches at present on production are supposed to be replicas of those used on the first Park Ward Phantom III bodies. This matter, therefore, requires investigation and will be looked into both by Messrs.Park Ward and E.V.

No.5. Van Vooren Body on Bentley.

It was agreed that R.R. should loan this car to Mr.Ward for one week for road test and investigation of the body construction.

No.6. Bentley Body with Rear Seat moved back 2" to 2 1/2".

Mr.Ward supplied blueprints showing the actual height and position to which rear seats are being built, and this discloses that there is a certain amount of spare height available from underneath the seat board to the shock damper carrier plates. It also shows that there is 1" width of floor space between the front edge of the seat cushion and the rear edge of the wells. This dimension would be increased to 3" or 3 1/2" by the proposed alteration and has to be borne in mind, since objections might be raised to this feature.
