X-2658 6.11.19. Mr. Clark. ---------- X3548 TEST OF EXPL. MOTOR FITTED WITH C.M. BRUSHES AND F.7186 SPRINGS X2658 ------------------------------------------------- The motor was loaded up to about 140 amps. the torque being 500 lb/inches, after 15 mins the commutation failed and the motor was stopped. This is the only failure we have had on the expl. motor. This appears to have definitely proved that the C.M.2 and C.M.3 brushes are better than the C.M. brush. The next step seems to be to find out which of the former two is the better brush for our motor. (Sgd) L.F. | ||
