-2- With regard to the silenced pumps, we note that you have despatched three fitted with the silencing washer, and we shall submit these to intensive testing as soon as they arrive. We are unable to agree to standardising this modification until we have had a little road and bench experience, but can assure that we shall release it at the earliest possible moment. We understand that you are completely in agreement with the method of silencing the pumps but we should be pleased to have written confirmation of this fact. We are much indebted to you for your assistance in this matter and would ask you to spare no effort to help us in expediting this diaphragm changeover as the present situation is extremely damaging to the reputation of both companies. Yours sincerely, | ||
