Modification to 20/25 rear brake shaft bearing is being carried out on all cars as they become available. Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}220. New 20/25 cars have improved lubrication scheme to outer bearings. Also increased clearance being given to footbrake on synchromesh cars. See Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}246. Bronze bush now being fitted to replace white metal bearing.

20/25 HP. The trouble seems to be due to oil from the pivots running down the cross steering lever into the slot in the dust cover. This slot to be deleted. PH.II. Chiefly due to leakage from the lower pivot cap. Strengthened flanges are now being produced for Production and also for dealing with complaints.
