V112. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/MMO.9.32. C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} PEREGRINE CLUTCH OPERATION. "Herewith we send N. sch. 3537. shewing the arrangement of the clutch pedal and linkage to the clutch operating shaft to avoid longitudinal movement of the engine affecting the operation of the clutch. It will be seen that a new pedal is required, and that a boss is added to the clutch pit. We have also made the tubular bosses through the clutch and brake pedals alike, instead of the latter being longer, as now. It will be noticed that we have altered the ratio of the leverages, and this will be made up by modifications to the levers on the clutch itself, particulars of which are contained on N. sch. 3513.
