PEREGRINE AND J.3 CLUTCH OPERATION.

All our tests on J.3 and Peregrine clutches have been complicated by :-
(1) Engine mounting
(2) Rubber in the centre of the clutch.

We can say that we have had a smoothly operating clutch with rigid engine mounting and the new easy engaging device. Generally speaking, however, we have had insufficient experience to make any reliable observation on the merits or demerits of this device.

On the other hand the P.2. spring plate has proved itself in customers hands and on the whole the big car clutch gives sweet engagement under all conditions with the R.A.D. lining.
