RE. CHASSIS 66-AS - BROADHURST.

Further to our memo ref. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CEP4/EC17.7.22, we fitted a recently renovated and not previously used Battery in place of the one reported faulty in the above.

The following day this customer complained that the renovated battery we had given to him was leaking acid. We immediately supplied him with a third battery and removed the one alleged to be leaking acid for inspection.

After a fairly lengthy test we traced the leakage to one cell only, the remaining five were in order and have since been placed in use.

The leaking cell has been placed on one side for the inspection of the Chloride Co's., representative.
